This site was started (at least in part) as a resource for my mother. (What, you don't think guys that look like the picture to the left have Moms?) She meant well, but she had this annoying habit of forwarding to me all the warnings she received in her email.

And of the dozens she sent me, you know how many were legitimate?

Yeah, you guessed it -- none.

But she's a great Mom anyway, and so I decided to create a site where she could quickly check on the status of the emails she's sent by her friends.

I hope you find this site helpful, as well. And if your Mom (or Dad, or son or daughter) is always sending you things that you know are hoaxes, please point them over here to find out the truth.

We'll all be better off for it.
